SunsonVPN is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy covers our application and the SunsonVPN download website. Website measurement is described separately below.

Website analytics measures visits and installer-link clicks; it does not measure traffic carried through the VPN.

Our company is registered in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), a jurisdiction with the world's most stringent privacy protection laws, ensuring that both users and the company are not subject to improper restrictions from any regional privacy regulations. The BVI legal framework provides the highest level of protection for your data privacy.

SunsonVPN uses a zero-knowledge architecture. We explicitly do NOT collect:

Information Stored Locally

The following information is stored only on your device, never uploaded:

All data stays on your device. Deleting the app permanently removes all local data.

How We Use Information

All app functions are processed locally on your device. Network communication is limited to:

• Your configured servers - Establishing connections and transmitting encrypted traffic
• Subscription updates (optional) - Retrieving updated server lists from your subscription URL

Data Security

• AES-256-GCM encryption for all data transmission
• No server-side data storage
• All processing happens on your device
• Encrypted local storage for sensitive configurations

Download Website Measurement and X Advertising

The download website counts page visits and clicks on our Android, Windows and macOS installer links. These counts do not confirm a completed download, installation, registration or purchase. This website measurement is separate from VPN connection traffic.

• Our first-party report stores daily totals by language, platform, campaign label and source for 90 days. It does not store names, emails, raw IP addresses, full page URLs, browsing history or raw X click identifiers. Random event IDs are retained briefly to avoid counting duplicate submissions.
• A source and campaign label may be stored in this tab session for up to 30 minutes to associate a download click with the landing visit. The server temporarily hashes IP addresses in memory to limit abusive submissions; these hashes are not written to the analytics file. Ordinary hosting and delivery logs are separate from this report.
• Only after you choose Allow in Ad measurement, the website loads the X Pixel. X may receive website visit and download-click events, cookie and advertising click identifiers, IP address and browser information for ad attribution. We do not send email addresses, phone numbers, VPN traffic, payment amounts or account information to the Pixel.
• You can decline or change the X choice using Ad measurement at the bottom of the page. Declining keeps X Pixel disabled on future page loads. Browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control disables both website event collection and X Pixel. Privacy or ad-blocking tools may reduce the reported counts.

• We have no data about you to access
• All data is on your device under your control
• Deleting the app removes all data

Children's Privacy

SunsonVPN is suitable for users ages 18 and above. We do not collect any personal information from users of any age. All data is stored locally on the device under the user's or parent's control.

For minors under 18: Parents or guardians should supervise the use and configuration of network settings.
